Ah, 'twas ever thus and it will continue. Our liberties continue to be undermined as governments and public servants try to cover their bums, but their misdemeanors seem to have a habit of leaking out because a few bureaucrats have a conscience.

While one might agree in principle with witness K? Witness K broke the law and his sacred oath to keep his yap shut on all state secrets and caused no end of problems for his masters!

As a paid member of the secret service, he had no right to allow a personal moral code to subvert his first loyalty/job description! Moreover, it's what he signed up for and what he was paid handsomely for! End of story!

I agree. Biting the hand that feeds you is unwise & highly hypocritical. If his conscience bothered him so much then it didn't bother him enough to quit the job (& the income) earlier.
