By Slater Bakhtavar, published 6/4/2021

This is why then-US President Donald Trump is to be lauded for, in 2017, refusing to recertify the Iran nuclear deal.

Meanwhile why not to a search on the topic - how many countries has (freedom loving)America bombed and/or invaded.
The detailed WIKI entry would be a good place to start.

And check out this truth-telling website too:
http://www.thirdworldtraveler.com

And check out what they did to the GENUINE Philippine FREEDOM fighters from 1899 onwards.

Meanwhile too, freedom loving America has been dropping bombs on one or another Islamic country almost every day since the the first Gulf war. The freedom loving Donald oversaw a record number of drone bombing killings.

And why not do a search on the topic Confessions of an Economic Hit Man
by John Perkins - which could be titled how to kill bringing freedom and democracy at the root.

Or how the freedom killing purposes of unspeakably vile outfit systematically stomped on the very possibility of democracy in Central and South America too

Daffy duck,
While at the same time soldiers of Islam have been stealthily invading countries such as the one you live in.
Don't be too impatient to experience being under a yoke far worse than the one of Capitalism !

This article's just empty rhetoric! Supporting and encouraging change sounds great, but there's not much opportunity to do anything tangible, let alone substantial.

Refusing to deal with Iran's leaders on the grounds that "It legitimizes a brutal, oppressive regime that is in no way a representative body for its people" is utterly stupid! They have control on the ground, and have done for over forty years, so they're already sufficiently legitimate where it counts, with or without the USA's acceptance. Also they do have a form of democracy; a very flawed form, but the government is in some way a representative body for its people. And the USA retains normal relations with many other countries that aren't democracies.

Just another load of lies and half truths contributing to the observation: " The difference between what the US government actually does in many countries and what the majority of American people THINK it does is one of the greatest propaganda achievements." Especially supposedly "spreading democracy", which involves all sorts of dirty tricks to try and replace governments in other countries that are disobedient to what is wanted by Washington. The Iranian government is a continuing opponent to its desire, in conjunction with what amounts to the Criminal Apartheid Zionist Settler State in Occupied Palestine to totally dominate the Middle East. Look at all the claims of how Iran is supposedly a threat. Effectively the US accusing others of what it does itself to try and direct attention to the supposed enemy. Then remember Iran /Persia has not invaded another country for 200 years. Look at the long list of invasions or attempts of carried out by the US on other sovereign nations though. Including some which amounts to unscrupulous Zionists manipulating the US to fight wars on their behalf.
Then remember that an important function of what is sometimes accused of being repressive measures by the Islamic Republic in Iran are necessary to counter subversive attempts to destabilize the government with the aim of replacing it with puppets and stooges sympathetic to Western interests ahead of those of Iranian people. They managed in 1978 to depose the Shah, a stooge installed in a coup by Western interests in 1953. Now seems action is readily taken against potential threats.

Oh come on.

Trump gets kudos for pulling out of this agreement but at the same time he was shaking hands with the North Korean leader?

Please. You can't have it both ways.

A degree of consistency would be really nice.
