Thousands of registered migration agents in Australia to lose accreditation : Comments

By Murray Hunter, published 14/9/2020

When the bill comes into effect early next year, more than 60,000 lawyers in Australia, including those without any knowledge and skills in migration law, can freely provide immigration assistance, without paying an annual registration fee.

Obviously, this innovation will cut out the poor immigrant in favour of the wealthy,
with minimal effect on the latest waters from the open floodgate of Hong Kong.

Why am I sooo cynical?

diver dan,

Sydney is already a Chinese city and I don't think bringing in tens of thousands of more Chinese each month will make any difference.

Australia is an Asian nation-state as a result of the Great Asianization Period (1980-2020) in Australian history and everybody needs to accept it.

In vain, I suppress my heaving sobs, at this vast injustice.

Who benefits from the myriad complexities and sub-classes of our mass migration system? The political parties, the GDP, state and city governments, the developers, a conga-line of rent-seekers, the migrants too. Most everyone, except us.

What happened to Keneally's mini rebellion, pro Australian workers? She copped the lazy charge of racism, Albanese sent her away for the factory-reset. Similar happened to Berejiklian, in 2018. Be a good while before any else breaks ranks.

I'd like to see a healthy mentality migrant import in favour of the dumbed-down local product of recent decades.
A stirring up of the gene pool is definitely well overdue !

There should be no migration agents. There should be almost no immigration, and that which is necessary for the good of the country should be entirely between the relevant government department and the aspiring immigrant. Where people get paid for something, there is always the possibility of graft and corruption
