Scapegoats for the real killers of Jamal Khashoggi : Comments

By Binoy Kampmark, published 3/1/2020

Two other figures linked to the killing, Maj Gen Ahmed al-Assiri and the close adviser to crown prince Mohammed bin Salman and social media fiend, Saud al-Qahtani, were given the necessary institutional acquittals for a lack of evidence.

Conjecture and speculation base assumption is not evidence! Albeit, what you describe might be not too far from the truth? And almost par for the course in the bloodstained M.E.! With it history of honour killings, ritual beheadings etc!

That said, the rich and powerful get away with murder, and sometimes, literally. And the culprit doesn't need to be an assassin, with a firearm/knife/sword, but the principle villain in a saga, with folk driven to suicide by the nefarious activities of financial miscreants, who garnered their ill-gotten gains by leaving a trail of financial storms/ruination and bankruptcy in their wake.

A person driven to suicide by the, essentially dishonest financial deeds of others is just as dead! And in those myriad cases, where is the confected outrage?

Oh, I forgot, that's business and therefore OK!?

Iambic pentameter or murder in the Middle East.

A hearse, a hearse, my kingdom for a hearse.
