Australian media should unite to promote cultural diversity : Comments

By Priscilla Brice, published 6/12/2019

Social commentators in the media reports we sampled expressed racist views in both overt and covert ways, deploying a range of tactics such as dog-whistling, decontextualisation and irony.

I can smell Hillary Clinton up-wind.

Barack Obama is a homosexual , Michelle Obama is a transvestite and their kids are adopted.

All praise to Donald Trump.

The Australian media should not "promote" anything: it should stick to the business of reporting. It certainly should not be listening to someone from an organisation " ….working solely to address racism in Australia". Nobody should be listening to anyone or anything so obsessed with supposed 'racism' - particularly when that person and organisation thinks Islam is a race.

"We need the media to be free and we need the media to be diverse". Free to say what Priscilla Brice wants them to say, and HER brand of 'diversity' which is not tolerant of other people's opinions, which she regards as 'racist'.

What a neat summation of the media's role!
It is, or should be, a report of actuality, not of wishes.
Opinion should be based upon the logical examination of contrasting viewpoints.
Many contributors and consumers of mass media seem to regard it as a platform for promotion.

As soon as you see dog-whistling, you know the writer is a lefty twit, full of hate, with no other argument than to try to denigrate those who disagree with them.

The media should stay the hell out of cultural matters.

I don't remember the general population being anywhere near as anti the Italians & Greeks back in the day, which tends to indicate the Muslims have brought the low esteem they are held in, on themselves.

I found it hard to take seriously what I was reading.
Quote: of the 281 media pieces sampled discussing Muslims and Islam in a negative way.

What on earth would you expect ? These people are slaughtering others
simply because they do not believe in their religion !

Kill the Jews and the Christians if they do not convert to Islam or
refuse to pay Jizya tax. (9:29)

Would you obey this command from Allah ?

Is this what you support ?
If so you are a useful idiot and first in line.

An opinion is totally different from somebody's observation & subsequent reporting. The Media is just so over-guilty of not reporting !
