The Australian government has a lot to learn from Mahathir when it comes to doing business with the Chinese government and those Chinese businesses which seem to be trying to take over our country. The story of the Trojan horse should be a good example for us. Currently we seem to be pussy footing around with them.

Umm, Maybe perhaps? But will any of register with our own cohort of money faced, sycophantic butt kissers, currently doing Beijing's bidding, here and elsewhere.

It's just not elected and non elected government officials but a huge cohort of corrupt individuals who are as easily bought s Senator Sam?

And for piddling pocket money as measured by what we could stand to lose if we don't stop sleepwalking toward Chinese economic and cultural domination.

I mean our reaction to the imprisonment and completely bogus trial of an Australian citizen Mr Young, without true cause or anything remotely like bona fide justification should ave resulted in a complete travel ban for starters and a massive push to find alternative markets for our trade goods that are not Chinese

! And rejig our economy so as to export steel that competes with Chinese steel mills on the world market. Doable with MSR thorium energy and maximised automation! And something we should do ASAP for our own security!

And if the Asian giant keeps with the sabre rattling and official oppression of its own, we and similarly disposed nations could respond by recognising Taiwan as a separate nation And China as a fully developed country, for trade purposes?

As for the theft of intellectual property, she is not alone there?

In fact, one could make a case for pointing an equally accusing finger at our ally America, who seems to have acquired both the single-step, steel smelting, invented here and the laser pulse method of uranium enrichment, without any money transferred.

One notes that the US has apparently made that theft legal by changing patent laws to first to register as opposed to who invented! I mean, who needs enemies when one has backstabbing friends like the aforementioned and their homegrown sycophantic servants here?

They are too busy worrying about unimportant peripherals like religious zealots being offended and putting a treaty in the constitution.
