To prevent brain drain, Kosovo must eradicate corruption : Comments

By Alon Ben-Meir, published 24/5/2019

The massive emigration of nearly 100,000 people that occurred in 2013 alone is so alarming demanding that the Kosovo's government tackle the problem head-on with the support of the US and the EU.

Well yes, Alon. But that's Kosovo's problem to solve and nobody else's! If the gormless folk left after their best and brightest have vacated the building.

Why in heavens name should anyone else give a rat's? Or waste their lives and treasure trying to impose your preferred solution!?

While you and your cohort, load the gun then watch and commentate from the sidelines. You're very busy Alon and a champion of justice, without question!

But like most ultracritical academics too timid to seek the very public office where your ideas could be brought to bear/implemented!

Stand up Alon and run for the presidency or politics. Put up or shut up! Unless there's a limiting health condition or some such?

Initially I thought there could be some lessons for Australia here- but upon reading the article issue appears more complex. The article seems to compare this nation with western cultural standards of government. 1. There is the desire within Kosovo by professionals to be more like the west. 2. I feel that western academics are quick to point out nepotism while not acknowledging their own massive hypocrisy for example in the education industry. Everyone perhaps is hypocritical but there are levels. I wouldn't be trusting the authority of the Europeans. 3. There admittedly do appear to be fundamental issues with the dominant Muslim culture in Kosovo relative to western ones. 4. There are fundamental issues with democratic liberalism as embodied in the west. 5. The raising of salaries- well- more relevant perhaps is the salary compared with the cost of living. 6. The brain drain of nations to the west is an issue both for the emigration nations and for the young and competition of professions in the immigration nations. Perhaps migrant groups coming from higher population nations have a greater capacity to compete than the local talent effectively fragmenting and replacing the locals. Perhaps the migrating professionals are just opportunists without loyalty to any nation.

Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps those leaving, want to escape (completely reject) a lifetime of mostly mindless subjugation by the so-called, (control freak) dominant culture?

Maybe? Could be? Possibly? Whadda ya reckon?

The Muslims fled Muslim Albania and went to live in the Kosovo area of Christian Yugoslavia. Then they demanded that Kosovo become Islamic, just like the dysfunctional Islamic country they had already fled from. The Serbs took exception to their land being stolen through immigration and secession, and a civil war took place (lesson for Australia right there.)

The yanks did the dumbest thing they have done since Vietnam, and sided with the Muslims against Serbia, which had traditionally been the front line of the western world against ever encroaching Islam. The silly yanks did this to show to the Muslims that the US could be creditably even handed and support Muslims against Christians. Not that the Muslims ever thanked them for it. All the yanks got for their trouble was 9/11.

So after stuffing up the country they fled to, and demanding that it also must become Islamic, they now want to flee again into other western countries.

No.

Europe is in revolt against this stupidity and nationalistic parties are now in the ascendant from Britain to Austria. All societies can suffer from corruption, but European Christian societies are the least corrupt, while Muslim societies are among the worst. This is because Islam is basically a religious/political system which promotes authoritarianism. And absolute power corrupts absolutely.

You can not reform Islamic countries without reforming Islam. And that will probably never happen because it is an evil ideology which demands the murder of anybody who criticises it. And millions of it's superstitious followers think that they will go to heaven for sure if they murder Islam's critics. That is just one very good reason why Islam is so dangerous, and Muslims unfit as immigrants to the west.

Close Europe's borders and let the Muslims crap in their own nests. Maybe a new generation of Muslims looking at their Youtube videos of western life will start to figure out that their religion is the problem. But until they do, then they should stay where they are and Europeans must not let this poison spread any further into their own territory.
