It is essential that we create global governance systems that can deal with disasters and enforce rules relating to energy use.

“... 2019 looks like being the year when humanity in general realises that global warming is a profoundly existential threat and it must be faced up to”.

No. Surveys show that global warming (I thought that they had stopped using that one) is well down on people's list of concerns. That lack of concern is increasing as the rubbish put out by climate hysterics and shysters has been proved wrong by the climate itself. For instance “The ongoing rise in global temperature records and the crazy weather events around the world confirm that the globe is warming, and at an accelerating rate” is simply not true.

Catostopharians have something in common with politicians: nobody listens to them anymore; particularly in the case of the likes Peter McMahon, who has no qualifications except politics.

Without overcoming the ONLY problem, population growth, then anything else is futile.

This piece of defeatist propaganda/risible rubbish has got a control freak agenda all over it!? And a demonstrable demonstration of asinine absurdity without peer!?

One thing, however, is certain, there will be change, no question! But on what grounds must it be, change for the worse!?

Unless the simple mind conceiving it is too challenged to think of anything less negative and or, hopeless!?

Yep, what a load of crap.

Why in the hell are you telling us this crap for?
Do you think we are in charge of multinational oil producers and have any control over who pumps what oil?
Do you want us to maybe try farting less?
What exactly do you want?

Are they actually pumping less oil and building less oil pipelines?
- No, they're making more wars in the name of MORE oil pipelines and hence, more production. -

If you really want to cut down emissions, then STOP IMMIGRATION.
You won't do that though, because in the current economic model you NEED growth to service national debt.

So tell me, if the effing world is coming to an end due to 'anthropogenic global bloody warming';
Why are governments planning AND carrying out policies which AIM FOR and PROJECT FORWARD GROWTH?

Are you a few beers short of a carton mate?

If were all going to die from AGW why are we projecting population growth you idiot?

- It doesn't make any sense you moron -

BTW, I've already informed others previously about the proposed global climate taxes.

I still say we should through these quacks into an active volcano to appease the climate gods;
- Makes as much sense as anything -
