I find the Taliban like left whinge penchant for desecrating monuments to be yet another symbol of the growing intolerance of left whingers especially since there seems to be no signs that any "pilgrimage" to these sites has occurred.

I find it truly remarkable that anybody who claims to be in favour of liberal values would support monuments to fascists. And yes, fascists have the same right to free speech as everybody else. But I don't see why we should be expected to idolise them.
