PRC’s Zhongnanhai-devised artificial economy is decidedly dependent on the rest of the world and, consequently, something of a house of cards. (It is an artificial economy because it is controlled by government - the anti-freedom CCP)

This article is too dense with unfamiliar Chinese names (other than Xi) as well as Chinese political currents, to have much impact on the great majority of readers. Most seems too intra-Chinese. Hence only 2 comments so far.

1. The author may be better off to explain her theories over 4 or 5 articles, to gradually boost the reader's learning curve.

and

2. More heavily relating the themes to what it means for Australia generally and Chinese Australians (in particular) may also help.
