Is parting such a sweet sorrow? : Comments

By Russell Grenning, published 15/5/2018

A very long list of so-called celebrities announced prior to the presidential election in 2016 that they would leave the USA if Trump won.

Anyone who thought that it made sense to leave their country because of a legitimate, democratic change of government, is as wet as a boiled turnip and is not worth listening to. Surely nobody took any notice of childish Hollywood fantasists?

Damon thought Trump was too petty and thin skinned? Damon would know how that felt, with his spoilt child tantrum, which was on a par with his B Grade acting. He is always Matt Damon no matter what role he tries to portray. Idiot.

Hillary won the popular vote and more of them, but still lost thanks to the power of the electoral college. And made Canada the very best thing about a Trump win? As for sweet sorrow? May come sooner than expected with a trump impeachment or mid-term elections? And or, thicker rust in the rust belts with their, Great Depression era soup kitchens and tent cities! As for Damion, anyone who has been kicked in the head as many times as his character Bourne has had to have loosened a few screws? And needs to try talking from a little higher up! Alan B.

I seem to remember a few die-hard conservatives threatening to move to Canada, New Zealand or Australia if Obama was (re)-elected. Not sure how that ended up working out for them, what with the Australian/Canadian/NZ penchant for "socialist" policies like universal healthcare, gun control and gay rights.

certainly Hilary and her dummy spitters are shameless. Shows Hilary had no intention of keeping her promises. So far Trump has trashed the Paris climate fraud, moved the US embassy to Jerusalem, pulled out of Iran deal and cut funding for murdereing the unborn. Horror horror he is doing what he said he would do. The media can't handle it. No wonder his popularity is growing among black Amercians. A lot more of them now have jobs.

Yup, Trump is doing everything he can to stir up revolution and rebellion, or a hot war? Which would see him as the incumbent remain Commander in chief for the duration and allegedly the world's most powerful leader! And the devil take the hindmost if that precipitates WW111 and Armageddon? Even as he dances to Netanyahu's tune? I hope he has mucho plenty oil shares? Cause he'd make a fortune! Alan B.

Hillary took over financial control of the DNC after Obama sent it broke, then they rigged the primary against Bernie Sanders, proven in the Podesta leaks and which was the cause of Debbie Wasserman Schultz resignation.
Also there was proven voter fraud in Blue states and a failure by these states to share voter registration info or enact voter reform.
