I believe your interpretation of the various speeches by various dignitaries from both Palestine and Jordan is not only highly flawed David, but says almost the exact opposite of what you say it and they say it is! President Trump has no power in the Middle East and no mandate to enforce change. Israel would be better advised to conclude a two-state Agreement and leave itself free to concentrate its military might where it's really really needed! And that is on the emerging threat to it from an unholy alliance between Iran, Turkey and Russia! Easy enough to put down the insurrection by Palestinian dissidents? But a whole new ball game taking on the might of a combined Iran, Turkey and Russia! Let's see how much stomach Donald trump has if he survives, for a hot war with three nuclear-armed opponents?
