His Chinese 'medicines' are good. Others not good. Like allopathic practitioners, he doesn't like the competition. His alternative is better than the others. Everyone has their own add to grind, and we would be foolish to listen to any of them.

As for vitamins and 'supplements', nobody who maintains a healthy diet needs them. I am a qualified herbalist, by the way.

News Alert. Provider of alternative medicine complains about other providers of alternative medicine.

Traditional Chinese Medicine has a pretty poor evidence base, mostly being arguments from antiquity. When tested rigorously, much of it is found wanting. What Holland should be doing is encouraging rigorous testing of the various options and those that are proven effective can be provided as part of medicine. Those that do not can be discarded. Instead she is advertising for ineffective medical treatments.
