It's a long walk to closer European security and defence cooperation : Comments

By Adomas Abromaitis, published 23/2/2018

The EU is working slowly towards having its own defense rather than relying on NATO, but many states are not ready or willing to put in the funds.

Yup, and a deliberately isolated from within USA, may not be anywhere as strong as she thinks!?

Especially if China pulls in her notes and the U.S.A., has to pay back some of the debt she has accrued in record amounts topped by even larger and essentially unpayable, record amounts! And when the Chinese yuan (or gold again) becomes the favoured trading currency.

Just as no man is an Island, neither is a nation state, especially today!

Well we all know that France would only be interested in something if it benefited France above anyone else. Germany would be similar, if not quite as much as France. Anyone interested in being an ally of either in this would be wise to keep a hand on their wallet.

For the yanks it would make very real sense to stop wasting money on defending the likes of France, who can't even bring themselves to say thanks, & don't like spending their own money.

The EU is a bunch of unelected technocrats that have taken control over sovereign countries citizens under the guise of a 'trade pact'.
They should all be lined up and shot, as should the leaders of the countries that sold their citizens out.

It's a cancer on the planet and a write-off just like Germany and the rest of the countries which have been Islamified.

Federation and One-World Government ideologies can go and get stuffed.
I support national sovereignty and the right of the true citizens to independently decide their own future, free from outside manipulation.

A nation that doesn't think its past is something to be proud of, that doesn't think its present is an example to others and doesn't think it has a future isn't going to be all that interested in defending itself, its culture or its civilisation

Huh? China doesn't think it has a future or is proud of its past?
