There is no legal or moral ground for flouridating public water. I am surprised that Kiwi governments have gotten away with what other countries have established as illegal, and of questionable value in terms of health. The human right to refuse medication, as per the Bill of Rights, is seriously curtailed by the ubiquitousness of flouridated water when infused into the public supply. The willful rejection and neglect of scientific case studies showing the questionable and harmful effects of flouride, which are easily accessible, is a case of neglect and misperformance of public, misuse of public funds, possible intent to mislead the public, fraud, etc. If government officials are seen as in collusion with flouride manufacturers and certain dentists with self-interests, that is will be of conflict of interest and corruption case. Class action suits by people experiencing side effects from flouridated water is a possibility. Everyone supporting the flouridation of the public water supply is guilty of the curtailment of human rights.
