Le poison Pen : Comments

By William Hill, published 6/10/2016

The surge of the far-right Front National (FN) since Marine Le Pen took over the leadership of the party from her father Jean-Marie Le Pen is often seen as emblematic of a new dawn for the FN.

There is also a good chance that Marine le Pen will reform the party; she might well abhor her father's attitudes and stewardship of the FNP. Mr. Hill might have had a good relationship with his father, as I hope most people have had. I did not have such a relationship with my father, who was a dogged Laborite who bore no dissent. The old bugger could not accept that I stopped voting Labor after I woke up to socialism. I tried to tell him, but he would not accept. We never 'discussed' politics to the day he died; he talked, I shut up. It doesn't do to visit the sins of the father on the son/or daughter unless they are evident. And, heaven knows, France needs options other than their current socialist crap as much as Australia does. Give the woman a chance.

I don't know that a parent's view necessarily transfers to the child? Particularly where there is above average intelligence, critical thinking and a willingness to interview the facts!?

From my early twenties, I regularly disagreed with my Father's facts! And the same might also be true for the lady?

The single greatest benefit to Le Pen's success (and other far right parties is that it is giving a huge wake up to the left whingers that have let hundreds of thousands of often hostile immigrants run riot through their countries.

It does not matter a hoot what were the attitudes in the past.
For the French the "Right Now" is what matters.
France is under direct attack, even their PM says they are at war.
France has the moslem armies inside their gates.
They need the Polish army to turn up just as they did for Austria.
In Europe it has gone past all very nice polite speech, it is war.
It is interesting to note that it is the countries that have in the
past experienced moslem occupation that are the most resolute in
resisting the current invasion.
