There was a brief pause in hostilities and a peace accord that saw the PKK mounting a popular political campaign that could have seen Erdogan swept from office!?

And the sole reason for a clearly confected and stage managed resumption of hostilities! And as the first consequence increasing Erdogan's grip on power! For Erdogan and other "leaders" regional conflict with a weaker adversary, I believe, is a absolute must to retain power? As is endlessly extending the mutual violence that serves that duplicitous end!

'Tis a great tragedy. The Turks and Kurds are natural allies. If they'd been working together, ISIS would've been defeated months ago, yet instead they're fighting each other, and despite many people being killed they've not achieved anything.
