Did you read the same article as I did? I ask because what I read contained nothing that even remotely resembled worship of the state; rather it was a lament for what had gone wrong with the state, and an appeal to fix it.

I see it as a worthy aim, even though there are parts of the article that I disagree with.

Like most of Bruce's dubious diatribes, a small element of truth is served with a very generous heping helping of overreach topped uninvitingly with liberal layers of risible rubbish?
