Very topical and riveting commentary almost as exciting as watching grass grow, on valium.

Every football fanatic I know is straining to acquire this statistical information.

Makes you wonder why the trophy is called the millik cup, doesn't it?

Something to do with the practise of repeatedly kicking a hard round leather ball with the (addled) head perhaps?

Even so, and as hard won experience attests, a lot less painful or problematic than trying to propel it forward with (how're they swinging bro?) forcefully swung testes! The pain, oh the pain!

Thoughtful article. Another possible reason for the rise of the minnows is the equal payout of the tv rights to all 20 teams. 10 years ago champions league money was the most important, now EPL tv money is giving even the west broms the ability to wield the big bucks.

But most importantly is team dynamics. Really interesting decision in January was for Leicester not to buy any stars. They thought that any increase in individual star power would be more than outweighed by the collapse in morale of everyone else as it would have shown a lack of faith in their ability to complete the job themselves.

Brilliant team move. Compare that to all the jags and mercs and porsches with very expensive burnt out motors littering the side of the season's road, much to the frustration of their overpaid under-achieving managers.
