By William Hill, published 5/4/2016

French voters, when faced with the choice between the Front National and a Republican or Socialist have invariably opted for the latter two.

The only folk with crystal balls are Gypsies? And bare back horse riding for them, just has to be a completely shattering (ouch, ouch, oh bugger) experience.

Levity aside, who can know the mind of the people, particularly after recent hugely disturbing events in Cologne, france and Belgium, which clearly give oxygen to the calloused and indifferent anti migrant far right?

the far right can and will rise,
just look at the support for Trump and in Europe for right wing leaders.

People are scared and sick of immigrants (legal or other)taking their share of land, pensions, hospitals etc.

The far right offer them hope in segregation, the left want to invite everyone in.

You can't mix 21 century citizens with 14th century barbarians who hate democracy. Its sharhir law or beheading.

Even moderate citizens have sympathy for the far right as at least they have a solution (right or wrong)

The far-right may rise but MAY never arrive.
The cards are stacked, we're all being managed.
They don't plan to let the people decide.

And its not just 'the migrant crisis'.
It is influx of refugees caused by the Western powers and European countries support of removing Bashar al-Assad and their interference in other countries, and made worse by George Soros and his Open Borders policy.
Say it like it is. 'They brought this problem on themselves'.
Scary part is, they did it on purpose - but to what end?

I know they are using the refugee crisis as a push for biomectrics and a cashless society, and destroying nations sovereignty in a push for global government.

Are all you people going to stay in hibernation forever?
Wake Up!

It looks like your socialist professors at ANU really managed to house train you, William Hill.

To start with, the "far right" does not need to "take advantage of the turmoil" in Europe. All it has to say is, "we told you so". Your socialist peers have done a real good job of destroying their own civilisations identity, prosperity, and safety, and all the so called "far right" have to do is wait until things get worse, the socialists become completely discredited, the Euros come to their senses, and they all start supporting the people who have opposed Islam, multiculturalism, and socialism all along. Even that doyen of the socialist Left, Sweden, is drowning in illegal immigrants who are trashing Sweden, and destroying the welfare system which all socialists support.

The only reason why the National Front in France has not become the government of France, is because it is against the same sort of gerrymander which Pauline Hanson suffered from, where in one election she got 13% of the primary vote in Australia and got no seats in parliament, while the Greens got 8% of the vote and got six seats.

The times, they are, a changin', William.

Europeans are turning to the right, because they are finally waking up that if they don't, they had all better buy prayer mats and start facing Mecca when they pray. The present crop of socialist politicians are more concerned with the rights of every third worlder to barge into Europe with their hands out, than they are with looking after the interests of their own people. You can get away with that for a while, but sooner or later the people get angry with their own politicians who are selling them out to the UN.

If you are stupid enough to give the "far right" credit for sticking up for their own people, then you sure are giving the "far right" (actually sensible Europeans who are sick of their countries being invaded) some positive publicity.

"Despite the reasonable distress at such results from decent and ordinary Britons and Frenchmen" says this young bloke.

The arrogance of these just graduated kids is breathtaking. Apparently you can only be a decent person if you agree with the latest dictates of our academic betters from the far out ANU.

Willy we are no longer interested in academic opinion, it has been through listening to it that we are in such a mess now. Academics, who are more interested in what some middle eastern academic thinks of them, than what is good for the majority of Australians are no longer of any interest to most of us.

Whether it is left or right does not matter a damn, provided it is right. At the present the academic section of left is very wrong.

The elites have been stuffing up mightily for a number of decades, I doubt they will have much influence on the future for very much longer.
