I found the article to be glib, far too simplistic and generally unhelpful.

How exactly would Erin Lalor expect us all to die? Then, at what age?

Erin's article seems to promise that if we each heed her advice, then we will all live forever. Obviouly unrealistic.

My father died at 87 years from a stroke and his father at 94. A reasonable innings in both cases, I would say. I am approaching 72 and suffer from hypertension, excessive weight and take a daily cocktails of pharmaceuticals. I exercise moderately most days and eat a careful diet.

If I took Erin at her recommendation, I would now strap on my running shoes and pound the pavement, but I want a moderate lifestyle.

Howdy deadly

No need to "strap on my running shoes and pound the pavement" which recks the knees, as dogs and magpies chase you and cars back out and over.

Exercise bike in front of the TV - "riding" an hour every two days?
