After searching the internet for some time to gain an indigenous perspective on Australia Day I finally found this article. So many other web sites fail to acknowledge the past atrocities of colonization and instead focus on the white explorers and settlers in Australia. Isn't it time we had a public holiday to celebrate Indigenous culture in Australia and to acknowledge the past?
