They have changed the rules themselves. WE now live in the "AGE OF DECEIT". Politicians view the electorate as a garbage can of people who have no right to instruct them about what the people require them to do. They see themselves as the new era of "aristocracy = Lords". They are above the law.

It is interesting that most have training as lawyers, so have little idea about the "real" world.
