That which allows an annual and unchallenged border crossing exercise by militants intent on winding back the clock to the middle ages, and ably assisted, we are led to believe, by Pakistani intelligence?
Ah so, that's what rapprochement looks like!?
Afghanistan has a wealth of recently discovered mineral resources, which no doubt would improve the prospects of an impoverished Pakistan if they could "assist" in their development and recovery!?
Were it entirely down to me, I'd welcome/invite a very much larger and more powerful India in to achieve that with local partners; given they have more capital and expertise!?
And more than enough security related reasons to prevent Pakistan from getting their seemingly warmongering (proof of the pudding) paws on any of it!
But particularly any nuclear material!
Perhaps if Pakistan could actually and effectively prevent/eliminate the annual exodus of border hopping militants, it might be something worth discussing, afterward!?
Rhrosty.
