Even the prison governor testified to the example Chan and Sukumaran led in encouraging prisoners to lead drug-free lives.

Perhaps all the Catholic priest paedophiles could have scholarships named after them, as they aged their sexual drive possibly waned and became model citizens to be proud of, they may have also taken up worthwhile causes after their criminal behaviou, so let's have scholarships for these people in what ever field they excelled in after their debauchery, after all they deserve some sort of recognition don't they?.

It's a dead issue!

If drug traffickers chose to traffic commercial quantities of illicit drugs through countries where the death penalty prevails for such action and they all know it,then let them face the inevitable consequences of their own actions!

If not as if anyone didn't know or weren't forewarned; or not guilty?

Besides, these two men were the apparent masterminds, and more than prepared to sacrifice their human mules for a few easy dollars!

And of course anyone facing the death penalty, as the first response is going to become a model citizen!?

A Painter and a Pastor? And really reformed and not feigning their sudden conversion? Well I hope so, given I believe in an afterlife and Karma!

So as you sow so also shall you reap.

How many addicts have died a miserable lonely loveless death as a direct consequence of the drugs these two masterminds have previously successfully smuggled into the country? Eh?

And where is all the heartfelt gushing and or christian support for their heartbroken loved ones and family?

Who might be more heartbroken by the needless loss far more than those who were given, oh so much time to prepare for it?

Spare me the almost professional high farce hypocrisy?

'Education changes lives' The elephant in the room was that God changed the lives of these drug runners. Don't forget that some of those who plunged planes on 9/11 were overeducated doctors. Education without character training just produces the self centred generation we now have. They have learn't alot about group think but have not been taught to think.

What the hell was Monash university doing wasting our taxpayer funds on a convicted drug run organiser.

Surely they can find someone more deserving, which would be almost anyone, to spend the money given to them by us to educate our kids.

What disgusting grandstanding.

Runner you know I will disagree with you on " God changed their lives" It was the thought of the bullet that changed their minds, otherwise the cash would still be rolling in for their gains.
Daresay those that drove the planes into the buildings 9/11 also had belief in some airy fairy God or Allah, that being their belief, which like the God of your imagination are one and both the same, bull....
