By Matt Thistlethwaite, published 19/3/2014

The Foreign Minister must end the uncertainty for our friends in the Pacific. Will Julie Bishop's commitment to our neighbouring leaders and their citizens made last December be met?

The Government is trying to get the Australian economy in better shape after the incompetent Rudd and Gillard Government let in over 50,000 mostly economic invaders at a cost of Billions of dollars.

Most of the things we support overseas are also problems here in Australia, domestic violence etc too bad we can't find money for here while we have to support the economic invaders.

Well what do you know, Matt flew into Port Vila for a few hours & knows all about the country.

Sounds like he spend a few hours in Honiara, & knows all about the Solomons too.

Come off it Matt, you had your pleasant tropical island jaunt & now you want to make political capital out of it. It won't wash mate.

Did you talk to any long time residents, living more than a couple of miles out of the capital? Of course not, the last thing the pollies want you to know is the fact that not a damn cent of our aid ever gets as much as a few miles out into the country.

Are you this dumb, or just playing dumb, to try to score points. Don't answer, we know it is both, with the emphasis on the former.

Gee whizz Matt, if only you and your incompetent mates in the labor/green government didn't waste the hundreds of billions OF OUR MONEY, we may well be in a position to continue ALL foreign aid, inject the billions into education, health and disability care that is being sought and, look after our aging population.

If only!

I just wish you mob had to hold indemnity insurance, so a least WE, THE OWNERS OF THOSE BILLIONS didn't have to ONCE AGAIN scrimp and save to put the money back in the bank.

Wake up to yourself and realize just what an economic mess you incompetents left behind.

To think we are paying those two losers you worshipped $180 grand a year EACH, FOR LIFE simply stinks, especially when my own elderly mother has to catch her shower water so she can maintain her late husbands roses, to try and avoid the risk or loosing her house due to financial strain.

You lot are a joke!

Now let's see....... According to MAtt, Australia must give countries like the Solomons foreign aid or the native men will keep bashing their spouses. Yeah, that makes sense.

Look Matt. The last time that the locals in the Solomon's were killing each other off, threatening the white and Asian businessmen, and burning down everything including the hospital, the Australian Army had to go in to stop them. My best mate's brother was on the HMAS Tobruk when it took aboard all of the whites and Asians who ran the place and kept it financially viable. He said that 90% of The Solomons economy got on the Tobruk and fled the place. Why should Australian taxpayers support people who are so dumb that they drive out the very people who can give their country any prosperity?

I would love to know who paid form your little junket to The Solomon's, probably the good old Aussie taxpayer again. And all so that you can spruik about helping the poor Solomon Islanders who are so dumb and violent that they can't even help themselves. We have heard all about the overly generous sinecures and extremely well paying jobs that go to the Australian public servants who manage this "Australian Aid" and it is pertinent to wonder whether this is the primary reason for your gushing support of Australian Aid.

Thinking up creative ways to waste Australian taxpayer dollars but which greatly benefit and expand the Labor voting public service may be a hard habit to break Matt. But you had better start figuring out that we taxpayers are starting to wake up to what is going on.
