SodaStream: conflict bubbles or bridge to peace? : Comments
By Jonathan Kolieb, published 11/2/2014However, beyond the facts of this particular conflict and company, the incident also highlights a broader issue which receives too little consideration: the role and responsibilities of multi-national companies doing business in zones of armed conflict.

Four Corners last night showed a very good documentary about Israel and the war the IDF is carrying out against Palestinian children. It will horrify you!
It is being repeated again today and is a must-see film which throws some light upon the amoral pit of darkness which is Israel. It will pop your cork! Posted by David G, Tuesday, 11 February 2014 8:54:26 AM

The inaccurate account of what actually happens must have been sweet music to the antisemite above.
If you bothered to listen you would have picked it up, but by listening with closed ears you only hear what you want to hear. Just one comment I received in an email today. "It’s all true. Only they left out all the important stuff that makes it a little different like: The 5 year old was kept in the jeep with his brother until his father came. His father should have been taken to task as he would be in Israel or Australia – what’s his 5 year old son doing in the streets throwing stones? If kids in Australia throw stones at cars from motorway overpasses they get arrested and put in jail. If kids in America throw stones at cars from motorway overpasses they get shot. Yes, Israeli kids get civilian courts. So do Israeli arab kids. PA kids are under different jurisdiction. If they were charged under Israeli civilian law the PA would be outraged and complain to the human rights council.. And so on. Posted by SF, Tuesday, 11 February 2014 9:27:38 AM

You will probably be relieved to know, David G, that the wonderfully unbiased ABC will never subject you to scenes of the Palestinians firing rockets which kill and maim Israelis. You couldn’t stomach what is the “amoral pit of darkness which is (Palestine)”.
As to the author’s “How can a consumer sitting in Australia cut through the fizz?” The answer is zip. The only people who can achieve peace are those killing each other – by stopping the killing. While there are Islamist maniacs involved, this will never happen, and Israel must continue to defend itself, despite all the ignorant anti-Semitism that abounds. Living is more important to them than the stupid remarks of arm-chair know-alls blissfully isolated from the horrors. Posted by NeverTrustPoliticians, Tuesday, 11 February 2014 9:32:14 AM

What ever you think or don't think about a country, as an organisation which is an humanitarian one and not a political one, you shouldn't be showing political bias.
