What about applying the logic of compulsory superannuation to other life events?

As a Boomer David I have no problem with what you are proposing and indeed will advocate for it on my Boomer web site BONZA.

To ease the burden a little though I wonder whether it should be 70 before access to public health is barred for those with substantial savings as a little thank you for being so prudent in life.

All suggestions will be on the table soon anyway when the health budget skyrockets as the 5 million Boomers age.
