All of that stuff is of course about unbridled power wrapped up in self-justifying "zen" even "spiritual" psycho-babble.
Meanwhile there is always this assessment of what Western Civilization is really all about, and where is at in the "21st century". It is written by the penultimate Spiritual Master or The Very Divine Person (who Realized everything that Zen Buddhism teaches, and passed beyond it) http://sacredcamelgardens.com/wordpress/reality-humanity http://www.beezone.com/AdiDa/Aletheon/ontranscendingtheinsubordinatemind.html On the Buddhist Understanding of Reality http://www.adidam.org/teaching/gnosticon/spirit-of-buddhism On the Buddhist and Advaita Vedanta Understanding of Reality. http://global.adidam.org/books/ancient-teachings Posted by Daffy Duck, Tuesday, 28 January 2014 10:00:17 AM

Beware of anything that comes out of Werner Erhard and his spiritual descendants: his methods were arrogant and abusive as he took delight in humiliating people. Yes, he had large crowds of westerners who paid for his courses because they felt guilty about their lifestyle, so they used those courses as self-inflicted punishment and yes, that was contagious.
The whole concept of wilfully planning a future is sick. The future is none of our business as our duty and only duty is to perform the right actions now - the future is in God's hands, not ours. Posted by Yuyutsu, Tuesday, 28 January 2014 11:08:55 AM

Bravo Rafe!
"Here we find synergy with the Australian School of Economics and the Classical Liberal Agenda."
Can't say I've ever heard of "the Australian" school of economics. Did you perchance mean Austrian?
