Boycotting the election may be seen as a step for political reform in the eyes of PDRC. It, however, will lead the country to a political vacuum and economic turmoil.

The current situation in Thailand is not getting better. Since demonstrations against Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra's government began in November, nine people have died and more than 450 have been wounded. Coup is now expected. Election is clearly way to go.

My concern is on peace in Thailand. The current situation does not show a good sign for peace. Political tensions have already segregated Thai people. We do need a proper mechanism, such as an election, to stabilize the country.
