Violence threatens to thwart Iraqi oil resurgence : Comments

By Nicholas Cunningham, published 16/1/2014

It couldn't be that the 2003 invasion triggered suicide bombing anarchy ever since - anarchy that has kept large quantities of Iraqi oil in the ground for future extraction - in so doing keeping world oil prices high.

Any who conclude that this benefited Western oil firms are henceforth dismissed as leftwing conspiracy theorists.

We, after all, know that the importance of oil, in the world's premier producing region, is over-rated and simply unmentionable.
