Dear ADM – consider yourselves lucky. The offer to purchase GrainCorp was too generous and you would have struggled for years to generate a decent return.

David, I don't think ADM needs financial advice from you. There would have been a reason why they offered such a premium and it may have had little to do with profit.
I would like to see some serious analysis of why the US State Department bothered to comment at all.
Unlike us the US "owns" their enterprises and they don't get called Xenophobic.
