By Robert Burrowes, published 9/5/2013

It takes someone with a particular psychological profile to kill people.

I read this article expecting some reasoned debate. What I found was some narcissistic psycho babble which looks like it was produced by an high school student experimenting with "recreational" narcotics.

People really interested should read "the territorial imperative" or other research by someone that has more than graduated from High school.

Understanding Obama and other people who kill
Those whom Obama & others make those dreadful decisions for are blissfully ignorant that these decisions are made so the blissfully ignorant can feel safe.

There's nothing wrong with the tactical use of force, be it physical threats or psychological duress, it's as valid a form of self assertion as any other, in revolution non violent activism plays a complimentary role to armed struggle, it's not a tactic which has ever succeed on it's own.

Some fairly big claims with no rferences to back them up.

I'm less than convinced thats it's all as simple as abusive childhoods.

Given our whole legal system is fundamentally based on the use of force (including the use of deadly force) I wonder where line is for the author in terms of having a legal system which attempts to compel
people to pay taxes, drive within speed limits, leave other peoples bodies and property alone, not use deadly force themselves etc.

I wonder how when the author judges executives for choices that deprive people in the third world of needs he deals with his own choices when the cost of a cup or two of coffee might be enough to save a life.

The role of the messenger is always difficult. That's because the listeners are usually so indoctrinated and/or thick that they can't or won't allow themselves to think outside the narrowness of their own tiny minds.

Yet these same individuals call themselves intelligent and pontificate profoundly.

It's no wonder there is no peace in the world and never will be.

Humans are a waste of space but not the author of this excellent article! He is a thinker and a humanitarian.

Robert Burrows needs to come at the reason mankind as a species has
Constantly waged war since day one on this planet from a different
Perspective
What is the payoff for the wasting of billions of dollars in wars
And the deaths of so many warriors who often call themselves revolutionerys
And volunteer to fight? Or in Rwanda where the ordinary people rose
up as one, seemingly without any command to do so and butchered their neighbors
of a different bloodline.
The payoff is always control of land or a country. We are as territorial as
any animal on the planet . More than this, we are tribally(bloodline),territorially
aggressive. Hence all the ethnic cleansing in wars and civil wars.

Robert Burrows is talking in his article about those who kill when it is not territorially
motivated, that is when it is in a community in times of peace, like the psychopath.

Normally we are biologically disinclined to kill all the people in the tribe around us
Because they offer us survival protection, I am talking bloodline tribe here. So in that
Respect we severely disapprove of unnecessary attacks on the protective society
around us from within. We see no reason for it and we see it as a major threat to tribal
Stability and survival.
But we will agree to support killing in wars because that also is protecting our tribe
And us in the process from foreign conquerors who would take our territory or resources.
