They obviously already have a nation gas grid; and unit labour costs, significantly lower than ours?
We have copious NG; and tankers already adapted to carry LNG to Asia; and, more LNG production coming on line!
Are these purpose built tankers operating at full capacity; and how much further is the Ukraine?
The main problem for the Ukraine, is the effective lack of competition and or alternative supply or options?
Domestic winter heating needs, seem to allow Moscow to effectively hold them to economic ransom or price gouge?
Geothermal heat sinks that soak up and store summer heat would help, as would turning all their wasted biological waste into Biogas!
One suspects they already have double or triple glazing and insulation.
