The language of geopolitics is the language of colonial overlords. It is not a suitable frame for a decent, sustainable world. The language of democracy, of human rights, of the right of peoples to self-determination is the language of human hope, progress and survival. If that better language had not permeated the efforts of the Allies the Nazi and Jap wannabe conquerors would have conquered the world, and what a garbage world without hope it would have been.
