By Arron Wood, published 1/3/2012

At a time when the country's attention has been so focused on leadership, 'Who can lead us?'

Come On!

If you were serious about future generations you would be pushing for a one child per woman per lifetime policy.

A POLICY THAT WOULD ALLOW A TEMPORARY reduction in human numbers below the 6 billion mark and therefore a reduction in human caused climate change and a reduction in critical resource usage. That as you MUST know is the ONLY way your kids HAVE a future.

As things stand, people like you use up all the ENERGY and other resources that your kids will need. Despite at least having an inkling that this is true you keep doing it and try to make everyone else use less so your kids can make you happy with their effervescent smiles and you can feel like a hero and get laid.

Without attention to techniques for safe global reductions in population you may well live to see your kids consumed by wars disease and starvation as karmic payback for your stupidity.

As OIL prices begin to hike, 2025 is looking like a date you will regret.

My bet? People will start to realise the TRUTH of this and consumer spending will go througgh the roof!

Its called extinction!

Our young people deserve leadership that is not constrained by political correctness.

Our leaders need to think analytically, or be able to call on advisers who can do so. Sadly, this is not the case when it comes to climate change. The meaning of climate change has been distorted, so much so that it is no longer presented as a natural process that has been going on since Earth's beginning. Instead, it is now misrepresented as a process that is man-driven, thanks to the IPCC disingenuously adopting use of the term climate change because it conveys wider meaning and potential alarm than the term anthropogenic global warming (AGW).

Despite not finding any compelling empirical scientific evidence to substantiate the AGW hypothesis, the IPCC has managed to con the media, politicians, learned societies and many scientists who should know better, and educators, into believing that manmade climate change is real. Thanks to our politically correct educators, our children are brainwashed to believe that manmade climate change is real.

Never mind AGW. A convenient red herring for supproters and deniers alike!

Our young people (as you so blithely put it) don't deserve anything from leadership to food and OIL. Because you and their parents are having fun using all those resources up NOW and pretending you love them while telling them they have a future which you are knowingly eating away.

I hope they read this and call you out on it!

Maybe then we will get some sanity and some forms of acceptable population control.

Bob Brown would be pleased to know that he has backing from some people to set up a world government that would not only control population decline, but also control consumption of all resources.

No one is going to control all resources. Population decline will obviate the need for such nonsense. That's the whole point. GEOGRAPHY and the long term benefits of an enduring global sustainability will
ensure personal boundaries are respected.

And never confuse Bob Brown with the concept of Leadership.
