Khan seems like a chameleon,he will take any populist position necessary, but apparently is scorned at home.
His objectives of turning Pakistan into a democracy without corruption, read well but of course are naive.
A true democracy can't be achieved under Islam,as the State is subjugated to Religion as the ultimate power.
Similarly corruption is just an accepted way of life .
The same problems that exist in Afghanistan would equally apply in Pakistan.
Khan is a Pashtun ,which tribe of course originated in Afghanistan.
Were it not for the ridiculous border divisions emanating from the the British Empire and the Raj,there would be far less problems, the Punjab would belong to Pakistan/India and the frontier areas to Afghanistan.
