Interesting article Jo. Unfortunately you need cheap energy in an economy for growth to occur. Cheap energy across the world is ending, therefore growth is ending. The U.S. economy will continue to spiral out of control even if the Fed Reserve continues to print money as it has done since the GFC commenced. Europe is in big trouble fiscally and this will impact global economics for a very long time. Never mind who is going to vote for whom, more important to worry about where your job, food, health, safety is going to come from in the next few years. It won't matter who wins the '12 U.S. election, the writing is on the wall and it ain't pretty!

Jo perhaps you haven't noticed that's its Obama, & his EPA policies that is weakening the American economy.

Any economy can only prosper if it has energy & lots of it, all at a reasonable price. Both Obama, & our fools here in Oz want to deny our economies this reasonably priced energy.

If these fools are in charge for much longer, the catastrophes that our economies become will disillusion your millennial voters to such an extent that a violent & long lasting backlash that will keep these fools out of power for many years.
