It is questionable if there can be real democracy with an entrenched two party system.

Having more than two parties would also lead to more innovation, and perhaps there should be a limit to how many candidates a political party can field in an election.

While the US wants more innovation, Australia would be light years behind the US in innovation.

Here we just import as much as possible, and hope that China still wants our coal and iron ore in 5, 10, 15 or 20 years time.
