The Taliban has OK'd the Afghanistan eleven playing cricket in Australia this November. But "doubt looms over the future of the women's team".

What a giggle. Looking forward to the sanctimonious ACB's take.

Sky News tells us that the Taliban has allowed
the Afghan cricket team to play Australia late
November this year. It apparently was originally
postponed from December last year due to the
pandemic.

I thought that our international borders were
supposed to be closed?

As for the concerns regarding women?

Currently there are 25 women contracted by the
Afghan Cricket Board who are still being paid, The
Age has reported. The women's team is expected to
be disbanded.

Recently two Afghan Paralympians were air lifted out
of Kabul by the Royal Australian Air Force and taken
to Tokyo to compete in the games. Hossain Rasouli
and Zakia Khudadad - who will be the first Afghan
female Paralympian - will compete in Taekwondo after
concerns they may not attend the Paralympics
following the Taliban takeover.

Interesting times ahead.

"More news on Afghanistan.

There are about 50,000 Afghanistan born people in
Australia. The government has granted about 8,500
humanitarian visas to Afghans since 2013 including
1,800 visas to Afghan Nationals employed by
Australian military or government in Afghanistan and
their family members.

More than 4,200 Afghan Nationals are living in Australia
on temporary visas.

So far the government has made no commitments on an
additional humanitarian intake in response to the
crisis in Afghanistan nor on granting for more
visas to those holding temporary visas.

Pressure is being placed on the government to increase
their intake of refugees.

Here’s something really nutty about Biden’s US:

Apart from transporting tens of thousands of Afghan refugees, many—if not most of them—Islamic fundamentalists - the Biden Administration actually gave the Taliban the names of Americans and their Afghan allies. “In a move no one can grasp,” “US officials in Kabul gave the Taliban a list of names of American citizens, green card holders, and Afghan allies, believing the Taliban would allow them to enter the militant-controlled outer perimeter of the city’s airport" ('Politico').

Lawmakers and military officials are outraged are outraged by the stupidity.

The war in Afghanistan was all about an oil pipeline right-of-way, and access to cheap opium, it had nothing to do with terror, nothing to do with 911.
911 was just a hoax perpetrated on the American people, to get them all hot and bothered to fling their money and children into another conflict.

AC- There's always propaganda on all sides- there are hoaxes everywhere. With respect the America people would be pretty unhappy if they couldn't fill their cars.
And the world would be pretty unstable if the US didn't manage it.

There's just too many people in the world and not enough land or oil- Ayn Rand would say that there is enough oil just not enough thought.
