Some people are pessimistic, cynical, and utterly
disparaging of anyone else's positivity. Putting
others down is almost second nature to them. It's
an automatic response to anything remotely
cheerful. And if they see you trying to share any
good news with people or trying to seek positive
solutions or some words of encouragement you're
likely to receive the polar opposite.

If people want to act in not normal ways then that’s their affair, as long as their actions are lawful, but we don’t need to know about it; there are far more important things to include in a census.

When a whine goes up about minorities, aborigines, alphabetics - you name it - others are encouraged to whine about themselves.

A woman identifying as a "proud Katchin woman" (Burmese) has now kicked up because she doesn't have special place in the ASCCEG statistics, but is instead "lumped under" the category of South East Asian. It makes the poor dear "feel like we are disappeared".

There is also a growing list of other ethnic whingers.

Isn't multiculturalism great!

Lets go back to the "good old days," when we were
all expected to be exactly the same. And anybody that
was different we'd all go crook on.

What or who, are these so called "NORMAL" people in society? do normal people abuse women and children, do normal people take drugs or steal to feed their habit, do normal people work or collect aged welfare? There are lots of what could be termed abnormal behaviour by lots of people in society. Is killing our little fury friends with a gun, NORMAL!

I see old Indy wants about a half dozen questions added to the census, question that interest Indy. Why stop at Indy, let everyone add a few question that interest them. My rough calculation say that's about 50 million questions, from, should we go to war with Ethiopia, to do you like having ants in your pants. My rough calculation tells me that the average Joe Blow will complete the 2021 census, just in time to start the next census in 2061.

BTW, if you're interested I don't like ants in my pants. The only bloke who answered YES was Fred Jerk from Jerksville who posed the question in the first place.

The alphabetics could always rent themselves out for parties if they want recognition. And the poor, unnoticed ethnics? Well they could trot off back to whence they came where there are lots of them.
