We started with records, then tapes, then cd's, mini-cd, flash cards/usb's..whats next biochip implants?
I suppose it had to come sometime, to the point of my youngster teaching me how to use certain electronic equipment that would otherwise seem alien to me, I master the computor (to a point) and before you know it, they start discussing vacations on the moon? Did I miss something or is technology far more advanced than we are led to believe?
We were still riding horses less than a hundred years ago!

im fairly young myself, but even i have noticed the quick advancements in technology, apparently they've got a lot more to come. just are taking their time releasing them

biochip implants ? raises all manner of Questions.

There are 3 developing and related themes in the world at the moment which can all be tied reasonably with prophetic scriptures, but not with absolute certainty... for me its more of gut feeling than something you can elucidate like Late Great Planet Earth tries to.

1/ Restoration of the Jews to Israel 1948 (See Ezekiel 37)

2/ Increasing momentum toward a 'world super state' centralized in Europe, where the issue of total human control is already feasable, as you pointed out with biochip implants. Its only a tiny hop to 'this is a requirement for economic activity' (Revelation 13)

3/ The connection between 1 and 2 in the words of Jesus (Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 21)

The general combined direction of all these things, is suggestive of a 'stage' setting which seems to fit with the return of Christ, but that is as much as anyone can say, as I said..its more 'gut feeling' than anything.

Spanky, this amazing proliferation of technology has only been made possible by the use of abundant and cheap fossil fuel energy. It's also allowed the wild explosion of the world wide population which is kept fed a diet of new "toys" to distract us from what's really happening to the environment around us.

A growing multitude of very well educated people are slowly waking the techno-deluded populations to the fact that their cozy little lifestyles will eventually be dragged down to the lowest common denominator once the last of the cheap fossil fuels have gone for good. The only ones they haven't been able to rouse so far seems to be the "markets" who's members, blinded by the "growth equals wealth" mantra of the privileged, seem to believe unfettered growth can go on forever. It will not!

When that time finally arrives, the powerful corporations and world leaders of the rich Nations will do anything they can to control the masses. Micro-chipping in the name of anti terrorism, or some other absurd notion, would be an excellent way of keeping the starving human population at the beck and call of the wealthy few. Eg: No microchip, no food ration. No microchip, no access to the water pump. The list exclusions is long and confined only by your imagination.

Tough times are coming people. Forget working just so as to be able to afford the latest "toy" or flash car. Forget the McMansion too! If enough people stop playing the corporate game, the economy will slow and we might just be able to buy enough time to create a better future committed to human co-operation rather than the present state of devouring human greed.
