Kevin Rudd today elected for the excuse of being too drunk to remember what happened in Scores. The fact of being there would not bat an eye lid of most Aussies given Bill Clinton's efforts, however is very quizical as to why Kevin has admitted to be totally blotto, not in control of his faculities whilst representing his country. Now if I was accused of groping a girl at a strip club after a drinking spree and I knew it wasn't true,I would not be using the poor memory excuse as a defence.Surely it would have been better to have the memory to deny the groping of the stripper,or was Kevin hedgeing his bets in case witnesses actually saw him?

Kevin is between a rock and a hard place here.He is either an ill disciplined drunk or a letcherous old man who uses drink as an excuse for poor judgement.

Arjay - would you say your opinion of Kevin Rudd was low before this stripping incident? I suspect it was, and I suspect that regardless of what Rudd does, its only going to reinforce your view.

Kevin Rudd went to a strip club. Yes, he was on an overseas junket, but he was on his own time. Quite frankly, it's none of our business what he did, provided it wasn't illegal.

It was a strip club for crying out loud. Get over it people.

The people calling him lecherous now were the same ones criticising him for being too lefty, or too conservative, or too christian, or too soft of workplace reform, or too hard on workplace reform, or an environmental vandal, or kowtowing to environmentalists.

It's amazing how little any of these things change people's opinions.

We all know men are basically sluts so what Rudd did is not surprising. Wives and girlfriends please note that stripclubs are not just harmless shows where the girls remain on the stage. They come down when not dancing and mix with the men wearing little but a few strips of material. I was reading an account of what goes on at strip clubs by men clueing women in on the reality. The fact is these girls very often make dates with men in the room or agree to have sex with them for a price. A lot of women are unaware of this. This is common practice at all strip clubs not just a couple

"I was reading an article on..."

Thus sharkfin, you admit to simply going by what others have said.

Yes, the women do wander amongst the patrons in skimpy clothing. I suppose it's also possible at some clubs that those dates you speak of are made, though in most that isn't the case.

Your extreme generalisations give you a distinctly paranoid sound, though when you start with "we all know all men are sluts" I'm inclined to assume you're an anti male bigot anyway.

Who cares if k-7 did not score well. The only problem that i see is if Labor win the election will we see higher Interest rates and Debt that The 'Best Treasurer Ever' and 'Happy go lucky Hawke. Mabo' left for us
I am not a Liberal voter.
At the moment i have no party to vote for so it looks like i can add another voting card to my collection(13 at the moment 4 state,9 Federal)
Have a great day

Just imagine Kevin'07 at Scores laying back in his chair with a sweaty brow and dischevelled glasses as a dancer sits astride his lap, then Kevin ponders;"Is this fork in the road a bridge too far?"

The trouble is that these people of strict religious up bringing suffer from sexual repression, since in my era and Kevins, sex was used as a tool of denial and guilt to enslave the flock.

The difference between Kevin '07 and Bob Hawke is that Bob would have led the diplomats into Scores and not denied the reality.

Will the real Kevin '07 please stand up,because I have not a clue of what he stands for?
