No group of people have an inherent right to any piece of land. By pretending they do all you get is an endless circular argument that gets further and further from any relevance to the real issues.

The ONLY information which claims divine authorship on this ...is 2fold.

1/ Biblical mandate/covenant promise to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
(From the red sea to the Euphrates) This was a conditional promise, eternal in scope, but temporally dependant on Israel's covenant obedience, not particularly evident today.

2/ Hamas Charter which sees the whole area as an 'Islamic Waqf' from the day it was conquered to the day of resurrection.

No matter WHAT else people try to make of it, 'they' are the views which will decide the matter.

Everything else is political shadow boxing and dancing around the real issues.

I'm surprised Israel hasn't swept the Palestinians out with that massive military broom. Them still being there shows restraint IMO. How much easier would it be for Israel if there were no enclaves of militants?. Palestinians have proven they can't be trusted with government.

I don't believe in inherent rights. Bury yourself like a tick, and grow a poison tail.

The more greedy a nation is for territory through military conquest, the shorter it lasts.
