Shadow Minister,

I'm glad you and your friends have vocational degrees.

I prefer scholarly degrees over vocational degrees.

Mr 0,

I prefer degrees that are worth more than the paper they are printed on.

Your "scholarly" are training for your vocation of flipping burgers for people with real qualifications.

Mr 0,

Why?
ISTM non vocational degrees are for those who don't know what they want to do with their lives. What am I missing?

Shadow Minister and Aidan,

I did a vocational degree viz., engineering, in order to earn a livelihood and I did my scholarly degrees simply because I wanted to be smart as well.

Now I have the best of both worlds and don't have to go through life as a mindless drone knowing nothing about all of the Arts things like history, anthropology, sociology, archaeology, philosophy, etc.

Obviously Mr O has learned nothing of the application in reality of history, anthropology, sociology, archaeology, philosophy, etc.
I have researched all of those fields myself and recognise that applied to human relations in its humble form surpasses pure knowledge. Knowledge means nothing unless applied in reality.
He is just leaves him a egotistical moron.

This I don't get. Do you think being smart depends on doing degrees?
