The corrupt officials are not going to do anything.
So it is up to the UN to ensure the money is correctly used.
Japan used to give lots of money to Cambodia, Gov took lots so they finally sent Japanese officials to Cambodia to monitor how it was used.
Absolutely billions of dollars have been poured into Africa and it is still a basket case, no points for guessing where most of the money went.
As for politicians in Australia they are mostly a protected species.
There is lots of evidence against an ex politicians of a criminal nature but when presented with the evidence assistant police commissioner said it was stale and they did not have the money to spend prosecuting it.
