Alex Newman is dead-on with his assertion. How can we get the average Australian to sit up & get interested in the future of this Nation ?

China is a serious threat- India is another one- probably even greater. There are a few countries that want to take over Australia especially those with large populations. Like a company that manages it's debts becomes a take-over target. Some country's salivate at the thought of a weak divided Australia. Everyone in Australia should do national service- so they are prepared to defend it.

A "UN type" organization could be a balance against hegemonic power in the world if it focused on the power between nations rather than within.

A "UN type" organization or even UN. Everyone agreed to end wars. However this was a translation error and meant the opposite.
