Maybe Josh F of Hungary had memories of Charles I (Karl Franz Joseph Ludwig Hubert Georg Otto Maria) the last King of Hungary , the last King of Bohemia (as Charles III). It doesn't surprise me that you won't stand for old ladies, but as Foxy says, we were taught good manners and if you missed out then that's tough, but you should have learned some by now.
