Toni Lavis: "Buy ALL the tickets, then you'll definitely win."

That's the funniest thing I've read for quite a while. Stilling smiling at it today when re-read. Thanks Toni. :)

Work hard and do whatever job you can. It takes longer then the lotto but what better cheat then to not waste your money on it in the first place and earn it on your own.

Well was interesting; and not all that surprising responses.

Toni Lavis:

Buy all the tickets? Well no, since it is not a lottery, but has a design purpose of guessing a series of numbers; a guessing competition.

Oz Lotto is winnable. Every few weeks it has a winner; even winners, where several individuals guess the same series of numbers.

if you wish for an example of the random nature of life, this is it.

It defies logic though, that lotteries are not being scammed!

Q:
What method could be used to scam Oz Lotto.?

(Not that I wish to do that, but I'm suspicious it is being rorted. I have no evidence other than my knowledge of human nature, to back up the claim).

And if you buy enough tickets to cover all possible number combinations - fairly easily to calculate by the formula n!/k!(n-k)! where n is the number of balls used in OzLotto (45) and k is the number of numbers selected (7) - then one of those tickets will necessarily be the winning ticket and you will definitely win. For OzLotto, you'd need to purchase at least 45,379,620 tickets to be guaranteed a win.

I recommend you try to 'scam' Saturday Lotto instead. With only 6 numbers selected from a possible 45, you'd need a mere 8,145,060 tickets to definitely win.

Well somebody is definitely getting very rich from the game... the people that run it and the Governments that collect the gaming revenue. And that, diver dan, is how you win at gambling: by running the game. Not that I recommend that you set up a numbers racket or an illegal casino operating out of your back shed, as the constabulary tend to frown upon that sort of thing.

I've actually got a really great system for beating lotto and keno. I'll share it with you for a mere $20,000 - which is a great investment when you think about how much you'll be raking in once you know how to win the lottery.

Your behind the times TL.

Jumbo interactive.com the software developers and operators of Oz Lotto.

Buy shares in them. In twelve months from July 2016, their share value has increased 67%. A sure winner.

They managed a small profit of $7.6m last year. Extrapolate that over four years, there is your $30m winnings, without so much as buying a ticket.

Great scam.
