An indication ttbn of how they think was shown a little while back. The grinning idiot Beattie had built the water grid, at a cost of $8 billion. After avoiding building any dams, [green preferences], he wanted to pump country water to Brisbane. That $8 billion was all on borrowed money.

Our big dam was overfull & sending water out to sea. The Gold Coast dam had just been raised 15 metres, & was less than 70% full. The G C mayor suggested that instead of wasting that water, they pump it down the grid, to fill the new capacity in their dam.

Guess what! The grid can only be used to pump country water to Brisbane. It would cost another billion dollars to re engineer it so water could go the other way.

I guess you don't have to be told where most Labor seats are in Queensland.

Our community have the right idea.

Our polling booth is usually in the community hall. However on polling day it was pre booked for a Saturday night dance.

I gather the electoral commission tried a little pressure but were told to P#S OFF.

We had to drive into the next electorate, where a new school was used. Talk about confusion reigning. People driving around in circles, as some sat navs did not show the new school, many people being given how to vote cards for the wrong electorate, & the voting area so crowded it was hard to find the right table.

It made voting almost fun, & the folk enjoyed the dance.

The LNP has shot itself in the foot by hoping into bed with One Nation in Australia's most conservative state Queensland. Saturdays election has returned Labor for another term as the LNP vote went up the spout.
The Federal Government Member for Dawson George Christensen, was looking rather pale as he did his all to blame Money Bags Malcolm
for the disastrous result. Christensen position at the next election is looking rather shaky. Liberal MP Warren Entsch then tried to bucket silly George for his outburst.
Coalition members have stopped stabbing each other in the back, its now open warfare.

I've cast my vote, put Barnaby Joyce 16th out of the 17 contenders; one ahead of the Greens.

Issy, if we lose by one vote I'll never forgive you! Anyway who would want to represent an electorate that last time sent Barnyard Booby to Canberra.
